We stand behind our products. Here's our commitment to you.
EvenTide Limited Lifetime Warranty
We warrant our lures against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product. If your lure fails due to a manufacturing defect, we'll replace it free of charge.
What's Covered
Our warranty covers defects that occur during normal use, including:
- Manufacturing defects in the lure body
- Premature finish failure (peeling, cracking not caused by impact)
- Hardware failure (split rings, hook hangers) under normal use
- Internal weight or rattle chamber issues
- Bill or lip defects affecting action
What's Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from:
- Normal wear and tear from fishing
- Fish damage (tooth marks, bite damage)
- Impact damage (rocks, structure, boat hulls)
- Improper storage (extreme heat, chemicals)
- Modifications or alterations to the lure
- Hooks (hooks are consumable and user-replaceable)
- Lost lures (we wish we could help, but...)
Pro tip: Battle scars from fish are badges of honor, not defects. A beat-up lure that still swims right is doing its job!
How to Make a Claim
Contact Us
Email warranty@eventideoutfitters.com with photos of the defect and a brief description of the issue.
We Review
We'll review your claim within 2 business days and let you know if it's covered.
Get Your Replacement
If approved, we'll ship a replacement at no charge. In most cases, you don't need to return the defective lure.
Proof of Purchase
For warranty claims, we appreciate proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt). However, we understand things get lost - if you purchased directly from us, we can look up your order by email.
For lures purchased from authorized retailers, please include the retailer name and approximate purchase date.
